Happy New Year!

Hey it’s Rahul & Lani,

“New year, new me”, “Time to lock in”, “This is my year”, are some of the clichés that get said every January. In engineering, that phrase usually dies by midterms.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth.
Most engineering students don’t lose their semester because they lack intelligence. They lose it because they misplay the first two weeks and never recover.

That’s why we built BeaverPrints.

We are two engineering students who started with GPAs so low that they looked like impressive batting averages and internships felt unrealistic. Not bad effort. Bad strategy. Once we fixed how we approached school, the grades followed. Now we’re sharing exactly what we wish someone forced us to hear earlier.

A sneak peek:

Here’s the rule most students ignore: Don’t start the semester blind!

If your semester starts January 5th and you haven’t looked at your syllabi, you’re already behind.

Your syllabus is not admin fluff. It’s a grading algorithm. It tells you how the course actually punishes or rewards your time.

Course schedule. Weighting. Expectations. Workload spikes. It’s all there.

Read. Every. Single. One.

Then, do the thing most students refuse to do. Prioritize based on math, not vibes.

Engineering school is not about doing everything equally. That’s how people burn out and still end up average.

If a quiz is worth 1 percent and an assignment is worth 15 percent, treating them the same is self sabotage. Try on everything, but protect the high value work at all costs.

From experience, assignments are the backbone of your GPA. They force you to learn the material early, they’re heavily weighted, and they usually feed directly into exams. Fall behind on them and you enter the worst loop in engineering. Skipped work, midterm panic, endless catch up, repeat.

Every semester starts with the promise of perfect attendance. Then midterms hit, life happens, and lectures get skipped. When assignments are done properly, you’re still learning even when your schedule falls apart.

That’s the mindset BeaverPrints is built on: Optimize Efforts for Lasting, Meaningful Impacts

Sundays are about school. GPA recovery, study systems, and hard lessons from engineering students who fixed their trajectory.

Thursdays are about careers. How to land internships and early jobs without co-ops, plus real insights from friends working at Tesla, Microsoft, Amazon, Shell, ExxonMobil, and more.

If you’re tired of putting into all your effort for the same underwhelming results or wanting to gain an edge to land that new jobs, BeaverPrints is the answer you have been looking for.

Happy New Year. First full drop coming soon.
